1. Who we are

The Site is published and operated by EXTAVIBES CAMEROON (“EXTAVIBES”, “we”), a store based in Douala, Deido, Pont Bonabassem, Akwa, opposite Central Voyage, Cameroon. Phone: +237 6 95 99 30 50. Written contact: contact form.

“User” means anyone who visits the Site, “Customer” anyone who places an order, and “Seller” any partner authorized to offer products on the Site.

2. Adults only (18 and over)

By accessing the Site, creating an account or placing an order, you declare and warrant that:

• you are at least 18 years old (or of the age of majority under the law applicable to you, if higher);
• you have full legal capacity to enter into contracts;
• you use the Site for your personal use and with full knowledge of the nature of the products and content offered;
• you are not ordering on behalf of or for a minor, and will not make the products or content available to one.

Any false declaration of age is a serious breach of these terms. We may request proof of age at any time (registration, order, delivery) and may refuse, cancel or suspend any order or account without notice where there is reasonable doubt. Delivery agents may ask for photo ID on handover and may withhold the parcel from anyone who appears to be a minor or cannot prove they are an adult, without entitlement to compensation.

3. Acceptance and changes

Using the Site means you fully accept these terms, the privacy policy and the cookie policy on this page. We may change them at any time to reflect changes to the Site, our services or the law. The applicable version is the one published on the date of your visit or order; the last update date appears at the top of this page. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Site.

4. User account

Some features (tracking, history, balance, selling) require an account. You agree to:

• provide accurate, complete and current information (name, email, phone, city);
• create only one personal account and not transfer or share it;
• keep your credentials confidential: any action from your account is deemed to be yours;
• notify us immediately of any unauthorized use through the contact page.

We will never ask for your password, or your Orange Money or MTN MoMo secret code, by message, call or email. Do not share them with anyone.

You may ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, fraud, abuse or prolonged inactivity.

5. Products, prices and orders

• Products are presented as accurately as possible (photos are not contractual; colors may vary by screen).
• Prices are shown in CFA francs (FCFA), including taxes where applicable, excluding delivery fees shown before you confirm.
• An order is binding only once confirmed (payment validated or order accepted, depending on the method chosen) and remains subject to stock availability.
• In the event of an obvious pricing or description error, or unavailability, we will inform you and offer to amend or cancel the order; any amount already paid is refunded.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of a prior dispute, suspected fraud, doubt about age or an unusable delivery address.

6. Payment

Payment is made by mobile money (Orange Money and MTN MoMo) through our provider Fapshi, by EXTAVIBES wallet balance where offered, or on delivery in the areas and under the conditions shown on the Delivery page. Details are on the Payment methods page.

• We never receive your secret code; it is entered only with your operator or Fapshi.
• A payment’s status is checked with the provider before any delivery; a failed or expired payment does not create an order.
• If you are debited without a validated order, you are refunded within your operator’s timeframes after verification.
• Any mobile money operator fees remain your responsibility.
• Any fraudulent payment attempt results in order cancellation, account closure and, where appropriate, referral to the authorities.

7. Delivery

Delivery areas, rates and times are shown on the Delivery page. Times are indicative; a delay gives rise to compensation only where the law provides. You must provide a reachable address and phone number and be available at handover. The parcel is handed to the adult who presents as the recipient; in case of repeated absence or unjustified refusal, the order may be cancelled and costs incurred withheld. Tracking is available from the Track my order page.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you on handover. Check the parcel in the agent’s presence and report any issue immediately.

8. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Return, exchange and refund conditions are set out on the Returns and refunds page, which forms part of these terms. For hygiene and health reasons, certain intimate items that are opened, unwrapped or used may not be accepted back; see that page for the exact list. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

9. Marketplace and third-party sellers

EXTAVIBES may connect Customers and Sellers. For products sold by a Seller:

• the Seller is responsible for the description, legality, compliance and quality of their products;
• EXTAVIBES acts as a technical intermediary and, as applicable, organizes payment and delivery;
• we may review, refuse, hide or remove any listing, and suspend any Seller, without notice, for non-compliance;
• Sellers must accept the terms on the Sell on Extavibes page.

Prohibited products include: any content involving minors or depicting a minor, counterfeit, stolen, dangerous or non-compliant goods, narcotics, weapons, unauthorized explicit pornographic content, and any product whose sale is prohibited in Cameroon.

10. Prohibited uses

The following are forbidden, on pain of immediate suspension and legal action:

• using the Site if you are under 18, or facilitating access to the Site or products by minors;
• publishing, transmitting or seeking content that sexualizes minors, sexual exploitation, violence, hatred, harassment or discrimination;
• impersonating others, creating fake accounts or giving false information;
• attempting to bypass security, access systems or data without authorization, or introduce malicious code;
• mass-extracting Site content (bots, scraping) or copying, reproducing or reselling it without written permission;
• using the Site for unsolicited marketing, phishing or any unlawful activity.

11. Intimate wellness products: information and responsibility

Lingerie, body care and sexual wellness items are intended for consenting adults. Information on the Site is general and does not replace a healthcare professional’s advice.

• read and follow instructions, precautions, hygiene and care guidance;
• check product composition (materials, lubricants, oils) if you have allergies or sensitivities;
• stop use in case of discomfort, pain or reaction, and consult a healthcare professional;
• these products are not medical devices, contraception or protection against sexually transmitted infections unless expressly stated;
• any use must be with the free and informed consent of everyone involved, and out of reach of minors.

12. Digital books and comics

Publications in the online reader are protected by copyright. Purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of access and reading. Copying, extracting, sharing, distributing or reselling the content is forbidden. Publications marked “+18” are for adults only and require an age declaration before reading.

13. Intellectual property

The Site, its structure, texts, logos, trademarks, images, databases and software belong to EXTAVIBES or its partners and are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation or use is prohibited. Content you send us (reviews, photos, Seller listings) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide license to display and use it on the Site; you warrant that you hold the necessary rights and infringe no third party.

14. Limitation of liability

We do our best to offer a reliable and secure Site but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the total absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for interruptions, delays or failures caused by force majeure, telecom networks, electricity, mobile money operators or any third party;
• we are not liable for indirect damages (loss of opportunity, profit or reputation);
• we are not liable for use of a product contrary to its instructions or for a minor’s access resulting from a false declaration or lack of supervision;
• our total liability to you, for all causes, is limited to the amount of the order concerned.

These limits do not apply in case of our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, for personal injury, or where the law prohibits them. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we do not control their content.

15. Suspension and termination

We may, without notice or compensation, suspend or remove your access to the Site for breach of these terms, fraud, endangering minors or legal obligation. Clauses that by nature should survive (intellectual property, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Before any action, please write to us through the contact page: we always seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Douala (Cameroon) have sole jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory jurisdiction rules and the rights you have as a consumer.

17. General provisions

If any clause is held invalid, the others remain in force. Failure to exercise a right is not a waiver. These terms, together with the Payment methods, Delivery and Returns pages and the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us. If the French and English versions differ, the French version prevails.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is necessary.

• Account: name, email address, phone number, city, password, chosen language;
• Order and delivery: items ordered, delivery address or neighborhood, city, recipient’s phone, delivery method, order tracking;
• Payment: mobile money operator and number provided for payment, amount, transaction reference and status, wallet balance and operations. We neither receive nor keep your secret code or your bank or operator credentials;
• Guest purchase: random technical identifier (cookie) and the payment data needed, with no account created;
• Returns and complaints: reason, messages and any photos you attach;
• Seller / partner requests: identification and business information you send us;
• Messages: content of your exchanges with us (form, phone, email);
• Books and comics: publications purchased, access rights, age declaration;
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages requested, date and time, security and error logs;
• Cookies and local storage: see the Cookies section below.

We do not ask for any health, sexual orientation or opinion data. Please do not send any in free-text fields or messages.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

• Fulfil your order (processing, payment, delivery, tracking, returns, customer service): performance of the contract;
• Manage your account and wallet: performance of the contract;
• Verify age and protect minors: legal obligation and legitimate interest in protecting children;
• Prevent fraud and secure the Site (payments, accounts, abuse): legitimate interest and security obligation;
• Meet our legal obligations (accounting, tax, requests from authorities): legal obligation;
• Answer your messages and improve the service: legitimate interest;
• Send you marketing information, only if you have consented: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We make no decision about you based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects. We do not carry out advertising profiling.

5. Who we share your data with

Only with recipients who need it, to the extent necessary:

• Fapshi and mobile money operators (Orange Money, MTN MoMo) to process payments;
• Delivery agents and carriers: name, phone and delivery address;
• Partner Sellers: only the information needed to fulfil your order;
• Technical providers: hosting, email sending (SMTP), backups and security, bound by confidentiality obligations;
• Authorities: on lawful request or to protect minors, prevent an offence or defend our rights.

We do not sell or rent your data. We use no third-party analytics tool or ad network.

6. Transfers outside Cameroon

Some providers (hosting, email, Google Fonts) may process data outside Cameroon. In that case we ensure transfers are covered by suitable safeguards (contractual confidentiality and security obligations). Loading Google Fonts sends your IP address to Google, as on any site that uses them.

7. Retention periods

• Account: while active, then up to 3 years after last activity, unless deletion is requested;
• Orders, invoices and payments: up to 10 years, to meet accounting and tax obligations;
• Messages and complaints: up to 3 years after the last exchange;
• Technical and security logs: up to 12 months;
• Minors’ data discovered: deleted as soon as identified, subject to legal obligations;
• Cookies: per the duration in the cookie table.

After that, data is deleted or anonymized. A longer retention may apply in case of dispute or legal obligation.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: secure connection (HTTPS), protected cookies, restricted and logged access, payment verification with the provider, separation of payment keys, backups. No system is infallible: in the event of a breach likely to harm you, we will inform you and the competent authority as required by law. Protect your data too: a strong, unique password, a locked device, and signing out on shared devices.

9. Your rights

Under the conditions set by law, you have the right to:

• access your data and obtain a copy;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• erase your data, unless a legal retention obligation applies;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest, and object to direct marketing at any time;
• restrict processing;
• data portability where applicable;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the above.

To exercise them, write to us through the contact page (subject: “Personal data”). We may ask you to prove your identity to protect your data. We reply within 30 days at most. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority of Cameroon or the competent courts.

10. Minors

The Site is forbidden to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect minors’ data. If we discover that a minor has sent us data, we delete the account and data. Parents and guardians: contact us for any deletion request; see also the “Protection of minors” section in the terms above.

11. External links and changes

The Site contains links to third-party services (social networks, maps, payment). They have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We may amend this policy; the last update date is at the top of the page and, for significant changes, we will inform you by appropriate means.

A cookie is a small file saved on your device when you visit a site. We also use browser “local storage” (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works in a similar way.

• Fapshi / mobile money operators: during payment you may be redirected to their pages, which may set their own cookies under their policy;
• Google Fonts: the Montserrat font is loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address;
• Maps and social networks: plain outgoing links; no embedded content follows you on the Site.

5. Managing and deleting cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge…), or browse in private mode. If you block essential cookies, sign-in, cart, payment or language choice may stop working. To clear the local storage linked to this Site, use the button below.
